In areas not open to hunting or during non-hunting seasons, firearms and archery equipment shall be kept in the owner's vehicle or enclosed trailer. Exceptions include: law enforcement officers and individuals with a valid Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms are authorized to carry a firearm concealed on their person while they are within a state park. Modern Camping Laurel Hill State Park • Please camp only in designated areas and minimize your impact on the campsite. • Prevent wild fires. Fires are only permitted in fire rings or grills. Gas and propane camp stoves are permitted. Fires must be attended at all times and extinguished before leaving a campsite. Properly dispose of hot coals. • Firewood is not provided. Firewood can be purchased in the campground through the Friends of Laurel Hill. Cutting live or standing trees and the operation of chainsaws are prohibited. • Firewood Advisory: Firewood may contain non-native insects and plant diseases. Bringing firewood into the park from other areas may accidentally spread pest insects and diseases that threaten park resources and the health of our forests. Use local firewood. Do not take wood home and do not leave firewood. Burn it! • Handwashing and dishwashing are permitted only where appropriate facilities are available. Washing is prohibited at water spigots, hand pumps, springs, lakes, and streams. • Because uncontrolled pets may chase wildlife or frighten visitors, pets must be physically controlled, attended at all times, and on a leash, caged, or crated. Electronic fences and leashes are prohibited. • Do your part to keep wildlife wild! Enjoy wildlife from a safe distance and do not feed or approach wild animals. Human food is unhealthy for animals and animals dependent on human food can lead to dangerous human-animal encounters. • Please recycle. Place trash accumulated during your stay in proper receptacles or take it home with you. Access for People with Disabilities This publication text is available in alternative formats. If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. 6/2021 2580 Laurel Hill Park Road Somerset, PA 15501 GPS DD: Lat. 39.9922 Long. -79.24191 814-445-7725 LaurelHillSP@pa.gov Reservations: 888-PA-PARKS dcnr.pa.gov/StateParks L 86 30 31 22 4 223 52 53 51 50 Trent Road 13 12 10 11 8 9 49 32 85 219 222 221 220 218 217 215 213 216 21 Make online reservations at www.visitPAparks.com or call toll-free 888-PA-PARKS (888-727-2757). 22 214 k 20 RESERVATIONS 23 211 Cree 59 212 Hill 19 58 25 209 ad re l Ro Lau rk 72 24 26 27 28 210 Pa 55 73 60 61 62 63 Begin one-way road 64A 33 65 64 82 87 18 #1 68 88 34 Campground opens in early April and closes in late October. 17 69 81 89 35 16 : 6– tes g Si EQUIPMENT ACCOMMODATION GUIDE 97 Camping Pad Lengths pin Cam Pet 15' to 45' 29 207 To New Centerville, PA 281 & 653 CAMPING SEASON 15 74 79 Host 90 36 76 91 84 270 Cop p R d. er Kettle To Trent 56 70 83 208 Trent Cr. ll 54 75 77 38 Indiantown Hi S Hi l l el 14 71 78 92 66 20 4 5 a el ur B a r ro n C hurc Rd. h 118 119 117 120 121 123 124 122 127 126 128 130 129 131 132 134 171 170 169 133 144 168 166 167 125 14 3 145 146 148 150 147 164 165 La ek N Cr e Area of Main Map ur Pet Cam pin gS ites : 6– 97 67 225 97 227 93 39 80 226 Pet Friendly #2 94 40 37 229 96 41 236 234 230 95 238 232 228 Water Storage Tank 20 Ro 16 0 L Park Office Laurel Hill Lake La 48 GPS DD: Lat. 39.99220 Long. -79.24191 113 One-way Road 45 Pet-walking Trail 111 20 Amp 268 rk Road l Pa e Tripl 107 Unpaved Road 108 4 264 269 Path or Trail 110 104 101 99 7 17 175 179 181 18 231 7 42 239 235 267 6 43 240 237 233 44 242 256 266 #4 102 98 100 2 17 173 6 17 174 178 203 241 262 265 ICE 47 243 260 263 199 Sanitary Dump Parking Lot 186 202 245 258 261 197 Hi l el ur ad ad 4 Extra Car Parking 244 #3 259 0 201 Ro 11 46 253 257 194 20 24 6 24 24 8 7 25 0 2 49 251 255 192 3 198 115 Stream 254 190 19 5 Trash Paved Road 8 191 196 2 Playground 18 189 ADA Accessible Public Phone 3 5 187 Washer & Dryer Amphitheater 18 18 Shower House/Restrooms am 18 Water tre 180 Pet Camping 19 109 103 6 Camping Cottage Firewood & Ice Concession e N To Park Office 116 112 Host 105 7 tle Ket er il Tra #5 in LAUREL HILL STATE PARK pp 137 135 8 Pull-thru Site Visitor Center 6 13 To Seven Springs Resort C Co 162 139 Walk-to Site ICE 8 13 106 Non-electric Site 158 157 9 15 ADA Accessible Camping Cottages 1– 8 Electric Site: 30 Amp Full-hookup: Sewer, Water, and Electric 155 1 Campground 911 Address 2580 Laurel Hill Park Road Somerset, PA 15501 814-445-7725 0 14 1 14 Tent Only 161 2 156 163 3 2 14 ty oun 154 Contact Station Electric Site: 50 Amp 152 To P A3 1, B ak ers Jim Town Rd. 153 4 LEGEND 151 E FOREST STAT BES R FO le vil 5 Electric Site: 30/50 Amp 149 Volleyball Court LAUREL HILL STATE PARK CAMPGROUND 200 0 200 400 600 FEET Rev. 6/19
